InterSystems Appoints New Country Manager for Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia

~ Stan Capp Draws On Over 25 Years Experience as a Healthcare CEO to Drive Technology Partnerships with Application Software Developers and Healthcare Organisations ~

SYDNEY, Aust. -- December 8, 2009 -- InterSystems today announced that it has appointed Stan Capp to the position of Country Manager, Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. Capp is responsible for managing and growing InterSystems' regional business.

The company's success in driving strategic electronic healthcare initiatives around the world was a key factor in attracting Capp to InterSystems.

Capp has over 25 years experience as a CEO for healthcare organisations in Australia and internationally. His expertise ranges from high level visioning and leadership to excellence in operational management, teaching, research and management development.

He returns to Australia following recent positions in the United Arab Emirates as Project Leader for the review of Dubai's Public Health Services and Technical Director for VHA Global Pty Ltd, overseeing health management initiatives including the commissioning and management of the new Sharjah Teaching Hospital.

Prior to his relocation to the Middle East, Capp was Chief Executive, Southern Health, the largest health service in Victoria, serving a population of over 750,000.

Capp holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Administration from Monash University, a Doctor of Health Sciences from Deakin University and is Adjunct Professor in the School of Public Health at La Trobe University.
