Dell Joins SNIA ANZ Board Of Directors

~ Dell Australia to join as a member of SNIA ANZ; Justin Boyd, Enterprise Marketing Manager appointed to the Board of Directors ~

Sydney, Aust. -- 23rd November 2009 -- The Storage Networking Industry Association for Australia and New Zealand (SNIA ANZ) announced today that Dell Australia and New Zealand has joined as a corporate member and Justin Boyd will sit on the Board of Directors.

Craig Scroggie, Chairman of SNIA ANZ, says: "The addition of Dell to our membership and Board is in line with our intent to expand our value into the storage community, and has the added benefit of bringing a key industry leader to our strategic programs.

In his Board member role Boyd will also focus on increasing awareness of SNIA ANZ with Dell customers and channel partners.

Boyd is the Enterprise Marketing Manager, Dell Australia and New Zealand. In this role he is responsible for Dell's Server / Networking and Storage portfolio. Boyd joined Dell Australia 10 years ago and is an industry veteran of 23 years. Initially in pre-sales consulting, he moved to take the lead position in driving the Dell and EMC partnership in Australia and New Zealand and more recently has introduced the Dell EqualLogic iSCSI portfolio to the ANZ market.
